Hello!

As a child, my dream was to be a French teacher, be an actress and to sing. I became an actress, and during the actors course I discovered my voice with Prof. Dra. Maria João Serrão. After the Actor's Training Course, I trained as a singer at the Nossa Sra do Cabo Music School in Linda-a-Velha with Prof. Joana Levy and at that time I was also invited to teach at ESTC, where I had graduated. During my adolescence I became interested in psychology, I was enrolled in a psychology degree in France, but I preferred to stay in Portugal. During the years I was at ESTC as a voice teacher in the Acting course and where I created a vocal method based on movement and psychopedagogy, I took many courses in the area of Body Psychotherapy, the most important being Biodynamic Massage, and a Post-Graduation in Perceptive Psychopedagogy.

 

After 20 years teaching in a school of higher education, I decided to change direction and do a Master's in Music Therapy, at the Lusíada University, joining all the previous skills in a path that flowed naturally, and then I decided to complete my music therapy studies with training in Vocal Psychotherapy® with Dr. Diane Austin in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile I got to know Sound Massage according to the Peter Hess® Method, which I apply only as a sound massage or integrated into the other therapeutic offers. Besides this activity I am also a singer, I sing North Indian Ragas with my group Luso Sangeet, and I also like to sing and listen to other music genres, from classical music to alternative rock music, or simply alternative, through Jazz, music from Brazil, Japan, and New Argentinean Tango among others.

 

This is a space for listening to you, which aims to increase your personal power through voice and body. Music and improvisation are the means to reach that realization of your authentic self, as far as you want it. With rhythms, melodies, words and musical instruments.
